Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Clemente Tafuri achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Milan in June 2007. In the 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture auction, the work Maria sold for EUR 5,400.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Clemente Tafuri - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ritratto Della Contessa Parodi Di Genova, which sold at auction in June 2007 for EUR 19,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Clemente Tafuri erzielte im Juni 2007 bei Sothebys in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture wurde die Arbeit Maria für EUR 5.400,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Clemente Tafuri mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ritratto Della Contessa Parodi Di Genova beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für EUR 19.200,00 versteigert wurde.
