Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of AUD 2,390.00 (€ 1,437.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Clement Millward - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Spinifex and Mulga), which sold at auction in August 2003 for AUD 5,287.50 (€ 3,123.60).
