Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2011 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master and 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, which included the work Portrait D'Homme Et Portrait De Femme by Clément-Auguste Andrieux. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 200.00 – 300.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 223.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Clément-Auguste Andrieux achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Voyage De Troisième Classe in December 2009 with an auction result of EUR 7,395.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2011 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Paintings and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait D'Homme Et Portrait De Femme von Clément-Auguste Andrieux zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 200,00 – 300,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 223,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Clément-Auguste Andrieux erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Voyage De Troisième Classe im Dezember 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.395,00.
