Upper estimate price exceeded by 34 %.
In May 2009 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Ferae by Claudio Olivieri. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 9,375.00 34% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Claudio Olivieri - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work In auge, which sold at auction in October 2010 for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,619.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 34 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2009 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ferae von Claudio Olivieri zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 9.375,00 und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Claudio Olivieri mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit In auge beobachtet, die im Oktober 2010 für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.619,04) versteigert wurde.
