Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le Boeuf écorché by Claude Weisbuch was sold in the Intérieurs auction at Christies in Paris in October 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 200.00 – 300.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 225.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Claude Weisbuch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Personnages De La Comedia Del Arte in June 2007 with an auction result of EUR 24,784.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Le Boeuf écorché von Claude Weisbuch wurde im Oktober 2007 in der Auktion Intérieurs bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 200,00 – 300,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 225,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Claude Weisbuch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Personnages De La Comedia Del Arte im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 24.784,00.
