Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2001 Christies in London held the auction BRITISH & CONTINENTAL PICTURES, which included the work A peacock, a duck and some chickens in a barn; and A duck, some chickens and their chicks in a barn by Claude Guilleminet. The price achieved of GBP 564.00 (€ 945.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Claude Guilleminet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Rooster, Chickens and Baby Chicks in an Interior in April 2002 with an auction result of USD 3,760.00 (€ 4,176.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion BRITISH & CONTINENTAL PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit A peacock, a duck and some chickens in a barn; and A duck, some chickens and their chicks in a barn von Claude Guilleminet zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 564,00 (€ 945,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Claude Guilleminet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Rooster, Chickens and Baby Chicks in an Interior im April 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.760,00 (€ 4.176,85).
