Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Bird Crash by Clairelynn Uy. The price achieved of HKD 40,000.00 (€ 3,966.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Other works by Clairelynn Uy have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2013 the work Wonder Bunny was auctioned for HKD 62,500.00 (€ 5,930.93).

Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bird Crash von Clairelynn Uy zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 40.000,00 (€ 3.966,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Clairelynn Uy konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2013 die Arbeit Wonder Bunny für HKD 62.500,00 (€ 5.930,93) versteigert.
