In September 2009 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now, art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries, including Topographical Observations, African and Indonesian Pictures, which included the work Visto di teatro Carré: theatre Carré, Amsterdam by Cipriano Mannucci. The result of EUR 1,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Cipriano Mannucci have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Signora in bianco in December 2003 with an auction result of EUR 6,200.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im September 2009 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now, art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries, including Topographical Observations, African and Indonesian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Visto di teatro Carré: theatre Carré, Amsterdam von Cipriano Mannucci zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cipriano Mannucci auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Signora in bianco im Dezember 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.200,00.
