Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Hors de toute forme by Chu Teh-Chun. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 2,800,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 3,024,000.00 (€ 336,378.12). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chu Teh-Chun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Harmonie Hivernale in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 229,568,000.00 (€ 24,578,851.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hors de toute forme von Chu Teh-Chun zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 2.800.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 3.024.000,00 (€ 336.378,12) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chu Teh-Chun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Harmonie Hivernale im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 229.568.000,00 (€ 24.578.851,54).
