A top price for Chu Ko - as previously expected
The work Endless Stretch by Chu Ko was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. The price achieved of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 17,144.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Endless Stretch is the most expensive artwork by Chu Ko that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Endless Stretch von Chu Ko kam im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 17.144,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Endless Stretch das teuerste Kunstwerk von Chu Ko, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
