In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work View from the cliffs near Menton changed hands for DKK 1,550.00 (€ 1,354.66) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Peder Mørch Zacho achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Stream in a Forest in October 2006 with an auction result of USD 27,600.00 (€ 21,608.08).
