Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work View from a cottage with flowering apple trees in the garden by Christian Peder Mørch Zacho was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in October this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 3,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 2,200.00 (€ 294.78). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Peder Mørch Zacho achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Stream in a Forest in October 2006 with an auction result of USD 27,600.00 (€ 21,608.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit View from a cottage with flowering apple trees in the garden von Christian Peder Mørch Zacho im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 3.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 2.200,00 (€ 294,78) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Peder Mørch Zacho erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Stream in a Forest im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.600,00 (€ 21.608,08).
