A top price for Christian Juel Möllback - as previously expected
The work Danish christmas Cactus by Christian Juel Möllback was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in December 2015. The result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 20,369.28) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Danish christmas Cactus is the most expensive artwork by Christian Juel Möllback that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Danish christmas Cactus von Christian Juel Möllback wurde im Dezember 2015 in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 20.369,28) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00.
