In October this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Contemporary art, which included this untitled work by Christian Lemmerz. The »bidding war« ended at DKK 5,000.00 (€ 669.95), 67% above the estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Lemmerz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work “Die Kahle Mutter”, 2018 in March this year with an auction result of DKK 75,000.00 (€ 10,064.85).
Schätzpreis um 67 % übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Contemporary art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Christian Lemmerz zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von DKK 5.000,00 (€ 669,95) und damit 67% über dem Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Lemmerz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit “Die Kahle Mutter”, 2018 im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 75.000,00 (€ 10.064,85).
