Auction result fails to reach estimate
In June this year a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Christian Lemmerz for DKK 1,850.00 (€ 248.36). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Lemmerz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work “Die Kahle Mutter”, 2018 in March this year with an auction result of DKK 75,000.00 (€ 10,064.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Juni diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Christian Lemmerz für DKK 1.850,00 (€ 248,36) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Lemmerz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit “Die Kahle Mutter”, 2018 im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 75.000,00 (€ 10.064,85).
