Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled, 2009 by Christian Lemmerz for DKK 2,300.00 (€ 308.18). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary art at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Lemmerz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work “Die Kahle Mutter”, 2018 in March this year with an auction result of DKK 75,000.00 (€ 10,064.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled, 2009 von Christian Lemmerz für DKK 2.300,00 (€ 308,18) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary art bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Lemmerz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit “Die Kahle Mutter”, 2018 im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 75.000,00 (€ 10.064,85).
