Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2006 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art 2, which included the work Triomphal Syndrom, 2001 by Christian Jaccard. The price achieved of EUR 740.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Jaccard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Empreinte - 1972 in March last year with an auction result of EUR 9,709.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2006 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art 2 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Triomphal Syndrom, 2001 von Christian Jaccard zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 740,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Jaccard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Empreinte - 1972 im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.709,00.
