Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Georg Schütz The Elder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Rhenish landscape with peasants talking by a track, figures on a bridge and a village beyond; and A Rhenish landscape with figures on a track, a hilltop village beyond in April 2002 with an auction result of GBP 45,410.00 (€ 73,472.19).
