Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Seascape with ships - scene from Öresund by Christian Fredrik Swensson for SEK 35,000.00 (€ 3,332.45). This price was achieved in the auction Important Spring Sale at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 50,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Christian Fredrik Swensson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Marine, which sold at auction in December 2010 for SEK 66,000.00 (€ 7,356.55).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Seascape with ships - scene from Öresund von Christian Fredrik Swensson für SEK 35.000,00 (€ 3.332,45) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important Spring Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 50.000,00 – 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Christian Fredrik Swensson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Marine beobachtet, die im Dezember 2010 für SEK 66.000,00 (€ 7.356,55) versteigert wurde.
