Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work European cityscape with channel by Christian Asmussen was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in May this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 3,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 1,550.00 (€ 208.04). Other works by Christian Asmussen have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June this year by the work Interior with a girl in front of the piano at DKK 1,650.00 (€ 221.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit European cityscape with channel von Christian Asmussen im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 3.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 1.550,00 (€ 208,04) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Christian Asmussen wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres die Arbeit Interior with a girl in front of the piano mit DKK 1.650,00 (€ 221,51).
