Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Chris Gollon could be acquired at Christies in London in June 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work The Sleeping Musician changed hands for GBP 750.00 (€ 912.07) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chris Gollon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Evening Walk, which sold at auction in May 2010 for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,903.91).
