Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Chris de Bueger could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in February 2004 for an unexpectedly low price. In the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction, the work Still life with black table changed hands for EUR 717.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chris de Bueger - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A table still life, which sold at auction in September 2006 for EUR 1,680.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Chris de Bueger konnte im Februar 2004 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS wechselte die Arbeit Still life with black table für EUR 717,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Chris de Bueger mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A table still life beobachtet, die im September 2006 für EUR 1.680,00 versteigert wurde.
