Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Making Her Mark: 20th/21st Century Women Artists, which included the work State of Being (Scissors) by Chiharu Shiota. The price achieved of HKD 252,000.00 (€ 257,341.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 400,000.00. Other works by Chiharu Shiota have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2021 the work State of Being was auctioned for GBP 287,500.00 (€ 337,153.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Making Her Mark: 20th/21st Century Women Artists durch, in der auch die Arbeit State of Being (Scissors) von Chiharu Shiota zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 252.000,00 (€ 257.341,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Chiharu Shiota konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli 2021 die Arbeit State of Being für GBP 287.500,00 (€ 337.153,36) versteigert.
