Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Connection to the Universe by Chiharu Shiota was auctioned at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 180,000.00 (€ 183,815.22) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. Other works by Chiharu Shiota have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2021 the work State of Being was auctioned for GBP 287,500.00 (€ 337,153.36).

Die Arbeit Connection to the Universe von Chiharu Shiota kam im April diesen Jahres bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 180.000,00 (€ 183.815,22) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00.
