In March 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary African Art, which included the work Untitled (set of two works) by Chief Zacheus Olowonubi Oloruntoba. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,016.00 (€ 2,368.28), 34% above the upper estimate. With this result, Untitled (set of two works) is even the most expensive work of art by Chief Zacheus Olowonubi Oloruntoba that we have observed at auctions so far.
