The price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,387.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cheyney Thompson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chronochrome II in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 317,000.00 (€ 288,339.09).
