In October last year China Guardian held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Lady by Cheng Shifa. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 192,000.00 (€ 24,603.99), 60% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cheng Shifa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ladies in Leisurely Pursuits in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 7,480,000.00 (€ 707,419.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte China Guardian die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lady von Cheng Shifa zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 192.000,00 (€ 24.603,99) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cheng Shifa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ladies in Leisurely Pursuits im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.480.000,00 (€ 707.419,35).
