The work Living Room; & Side Portrait (two works) by Chen Ke was sold in the 20th/21st Century Art Online Sale auction at Christies in January last year. It achieved a price of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 31,468.52), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Ke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Outside the Window in March this year with an auction result of HKD 5,080,000.00 (€ 594,816.04).

Die Arbeit Living Room; & Side Portrait (two works) von Chen Ke wurde im Januar letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Online Sale bei Christies versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 31.468,52) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Ke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Outside the Window im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.080.000,00 (€ 594.816,04).
