Despite a disappointment, a good price for Chema Cobo
This work of art by Chema Cobo could be acquired at Christies in New York in October 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The House Sale auction, the work The Selfmade Portrait changed hands for USD 4,800.00 (€ 3,757.93) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, The Selfmade Portrait is the most expensive artwork by Chema Cobo that we have observed at auction so far.
