Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Talking in the Sleep by Chatchai Puipia was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2020. The price achieved of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 21,095.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 160,000.00 – 260,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chatchai Puipia have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Starry Night in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 812,500.00 (€ 94,234.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Talking in the Sleep von Chatchai Puipia kam im Dezember 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 21.095,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 160.000,00 – 260.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chatchai Puipia auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Starry Night im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 812.500,00 (€ 94.234,96).
