Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Marina by Charlotte Verity for GBP 96.00 (€ 141.57). This price was achieved in the auction Twentieth Century British Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charlotte Verity achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Apple Leaves in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 2,167.00 (€ 2,513.56).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Marina von Charlotte Verity für GBP 96,00 (€ 141,57) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Twentieth Century British Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charlotte Verity erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Apple Leaves im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.167,00 (€ 2.513,56).
