This artwork by Charlotte van Pallandt achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2007. In the The Sculpture Sale auction, the work Selfportrait sold for EUR 33,850.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Charlotte van Pallandt; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Staand naakt met geheven arm: standing nude sold at auction in November 2009 with the realized price of EUR 51,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Charlotte van Pallandt erzielte im November 2007 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Sculpture Sale wurde die Arbeit Selfportrait für EUR 33.850,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Charlotte van Pallandt; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Staand naakt met geheven arm: standing nude im November 2009 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 51.400,00.
