This artwork by Charlotte Mary Yonge achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in September 2010. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Six floral studies sold for GBP 750.00 (€ 867.45) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 400.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Charlotte Mary Yonge; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Twelve floral studies sold at auction in January 2011 with the realized price of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,122.27).
