The work At the well by Charles Victor Thirion was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2015. It achieved a price of GBP 45,000.00 (€ 63,449.44), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Charles Victor Thirion; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot French Petite Bergère sold at auction in February 2019 with the realized price of USD 81,250.00 (€ 71,403.46).
