In January 2008 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Captives From Ossian'S Poems by Charles Reuben Ryley. The result of GBP 500.00 (€ 670.27) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 800.00. Other works by Charles Reuben Ryley have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2002 the work Mendoza and Richard Humphreys was auctioned for GBP 470.00 (€ 726.98).
