In the Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours auction, the work View Of The Courtyard Of Palazzo Mattei, Rome, With Statues And Antique Reliefs; And View Of The Interior Of The Church Of San Lorenzo Fuori Le Mura, Rome sold for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,505.66) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Charles Percier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Reliefs Et Monuments Antiques in March 2016 with an auction result of EUR 41,480.00.
