Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lookout by Charles Pachter was auctioned at Sothebys in Toronto in May 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CAD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of CAD 16,800.00 (€ 12,062.44) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Charles Pachter have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2010 the work The Painted Flag was auctioned for CAD 30,000.00 (€ 23,011.96).

Die Arbeit Lookout von Charles Pachter kam im Mai 2011 bei Sothebys in Toronto zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CAD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CAD 16.800,00 (€ 12.062,44) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
