Auction result misses estimated price range
In August last year a collector was able to acquire the work Where Ocean Breezes Blow by Charles Nicolas Sarka for USD 140.25 (€ 139.34). This price was achieved in the auction American Art at Bonhams in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Charles Nicolas Sarka have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Girl with Cigarette in August last year with an auction result of USD 573.75 (€ 570.04).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Where Ocean Breezes Blow von Charles Nicolas Sarka für USD 140,25 (€ 139,34) erwerben.
