In the Photography "Philip Henry Delamotte, Views of the Crystal Palace, 1855" auction, the work Sceaux, Vu Des Hauteurs D'Aulnay, Circa 1852 sold for EUR 3,718.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Marville achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Paris: La Bièvre Entre Les Rues Pascal Et Cochin' in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 103,000.00 (€ 66,161.36).
