Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Female Nude by Charles Alexandre Malfray was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in February 2013. Here, the upper estimate of USD 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 750.00 (€ 573.44). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Alexandre Malfray achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Leda Et Le Cygne, 1912-1913 in April 2008 with an auction result of EUR 6,196.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Female Nude von Charles Alexandre Malfray kam im Februar 2013 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 750,00 (€ 573,44) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Alexandre Malfray erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Leda Et Le Cygne, 1912-1913 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.196,00.
