Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of EUR 2,400.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles-Louis Kratké - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La cour, which sold at auction in October 2004 for USD 7,170.00 (€ 5,625.29).
