Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,887.86). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles-Joseph Natoire achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'La Source'; The Triumph Of Bacchus; in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 657,250.00 (€ 837,159.85).
