In the British and Continental Pictures auction, the work An overcoat draped over a chair sold for GBP 288.00 (€ 422.12) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 150.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Jean Agard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fillette À La Robe À Poischarles-Jean Agard ; Young Girl Wearing A Dress With Spots ; Signed Lower Right ; Oil On Canvas in June 2013 with an auction result of EUR 11,875.00.
