Auction result well in line with expectations
The work WHO'S WATCHING by Charles-Hossein Zenderoudi was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including On The Banks of the NileA Journey Through Egyptian Art auction at Bonhams in London in May last year. The price achieved of GBP 88,500.00 (€ 104,111.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Charles-Hossein Zenderoudi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tchaar-Bagh in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 1,609,000.00 (€ 1,033,530.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit WHO'S WATCHING von Charles-Hossein Zenderoudi wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including On The Banks of the NileA Journey Through Egyptian Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 88.500,00 (€ 104.111,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 70.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles-Hossein Zenderoudi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tchaar-Bagh im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.609.000,00 (€ 1.033.530,32).
