The work Untitled (Talismanic Charts) by Charles-Hossein Zenderoudi was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art auction at Bonhams in London in May this year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 35,840.00 (€ 41,700.08), 43% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles-Hossein Zenderoudi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tchaar-Bagh in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 1,609,000.00 (€ 1,033,530.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 43 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Talismanic Charts) von Charles-Hossein Zenderoudi wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 35.840,00 (€ 41.700,08) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles-Hossein Zenderoudi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tchaar-Bagh im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.609.000,00 (€ 1.033.530,32).
