Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIraqi Masterpieces from the Jawdat, Madhloom and Selim Collections, which included the work DAL+DAL+DAL by Charles-Hossein Zenderoudi. The price achieved of GBP 125,250.00 (€ 147,055.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Charles-Hossein Zenderoudi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tchaar-Bagh in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 1,609,000.00 (€ 1,033,530.32).
