In June 2005 Christies in Rome held the auction ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO, which included the work Butteri E Bovini Al Pascolo by Charles H. Poingdestre. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,448.00 29% above the upper estimate. With this result, Butteri E Bovini Al Pascolo is even the most expensive work of art by Charles H. Poingdestre that we have observed at auctions so far.
