Auction result well in line with expectations

Burleigh was sold in the British, Continental and Russian Pictures auction at Christies in London in August 2006. The price achieved of GBP 480.00 (€ 713.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles H. H. Burleigh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dancers in January 2009 with an auction result of GBP 11,500.00 (€ 12,945.13).
