In the American Art Online auction, the work The Wood Engraver sold for USD 56,250.00 (€ 47,126.34) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Charles Frederick Ulrich have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Washerwomen in May 2005 with an auction result of USD 284,800.00 (€ 230,625.96).

In der Auktion American Art Online wurde die Arbeit The Wood Engraver für USD 56.250,00 (€ 47.126,34) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Frederick Ulrich auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Washerwomen im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 284.800,00 (€ 230.625,96).
