Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Charles Dorman Robinson could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the California and Western Art Online auction, the work Mt. Diablo from Brentwood changed hands for USD 510.00 (€ 450.61) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Dorman Robinson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mt. Tamalpais, California in March 2010 with an auction result of USD 16,250.00 (€ 12,013.90).
